New Falken Tires
Posted in Lifestyle on June 20th, 2005Guess what? I finally replaced 4 brand new all season Falken Ziex ZE-512 on my Prelude, check out Reviews on these tires. Reviews are pretty good on these tires and also less expensive compared to others. The stock ones were pretty worn out so bad, I had to replace them asap. I called in and ordered at Speedtech last Saturday, and I got them installed today from Speedtech as well, the installation was pretty fast, took them around half an hour to put 4 tires on. The whole thing costs me $550, arrgggg… I gotta say this, having a car is suck… but somehow good… Here is how the Falken Ziex ZE-512 tire looks like:

- Uni-directional tread design and circumferential grooves for superior wet weather handling
- Smooth, quiet, comfortable ride
- Improved rim protection ridge protects expensive custom wheels
- New multi-radius profile increases contact pressure and low profile styling

hi.
i just read the write-up on your beautiful prelude.
i also own a 2000 base model (pearl white) and i had a few questions.
did you purchase the oem side skirts or did you paint them yourself?
where did you purchase the jdm fog lights & side makers?
how much did each item cost?
thanks in advance!
your car is looking very nice and clean.

Hi…
I don’t have an OEM side skirts. It’s lowered. I got the JDM fog lights brand new at some store in Markham, they said it was shipped from HongKong, sorry I forgot where I got it… I got it for $420 brand new. By the way, check out Toronto Prelude Club and ask for “nden”. There is TPC forum, most people there is very helpful, I see sometime people selling it around $300-$350 for the JDM fogs. Oh, I got the side markers at Parcific Mall, may be around $20…
Show me yours too!
