Spice up the Desktop
Posted in Downloads, Lifestyle on July 26th, 2005I always is a fan of Windows XP theme for a long time now. The desktop always set with the best performance visual effects by turning off most options avaiable. It’s time to mess around or spice things up a litle bit huh? My brother is always trying every new Linux operating system, as he goes along and he got me in this new addiction. Customizing the GNU desktop look by changing some of the wallpaper, adding new icons, themes… I use two major applications Flyakite OSX and Konfabulator 2, of course both are free for download on their website. Flyakite OSX is Mac wannabe I guess, hehehhe… with Tiger theme, it change the whole Windows interface to Mac look alike. Konfabulator 2 is a fabulous program running widgets on desktop wallpaper. I had my Dashboard Weather widget running, it’s a little nice weather watcher for your locale city. I grabbed some PNG icons off WinCustomize, a lot of free stuffs here too. Must bookmark.

Really dude? Have you try it out? Hehhee… I wanna try it out but I think i’m gonna wait when it comes out and see. I have heard Vista comes with IE 7 too.

Yah, the one I have sent you is beta 3.53, I have the 3.08 stable original version aswell, as for the Vista, yah, everyone loves it, but remember this IS beta 1, so it’ll change a lot, further more, a lot of the driver for it is still under development, however, it is quite stable and quite fast, since it is build on xp prof core.
Hey next friday, want to go eat “Rolling Pot” at Pacific Mall? Invite your girlfriend as well if she like to go. I have got some people up for Rolling Pot and was wondering If you guys like to join us, we’ll go bowling, pooling, arcades, drinking at bubble tea place, and other thing aswell.

I would love to have vista!!!!! Don’t I need 64-bit hardware to run it on though?
