I just registered myself a newly domain name which is tLaphotos.com for only my photography stuffs. I will use it as my photoblogs site for now. Stay tunes…
Two monitors are better than one. That’s right. I’m currently viewing two Dell 2408WFP monitors in front of me, these monitors are wall mounted and they are going to kill my sight. Hahhaha…
This is what I used to wall-mounted these monitors. Each individual wall-mount is for each monitor.
With a little of spare time I managed to organize my cables by sticking them onto the wall and whooolaaa….here
Somebody has given me a great idea that I should wall-mount my Mac Mini behind the monitors. So I did it. Look at the photo below, that’s how it’s mounted.
If you ever wonder where to get dual wallpapers, check out mandolux has some pretty nice one.
I received a message from Rogers on my iPhone awhile back. Surprisingly on May 4, 2010 Rogers announced tethering will continue to be included at no additional charge for Rogers customers who subscribe to a data plan of 1GB and above.

Sure it is a good news for me. I could use my jailbroke iPhone with MyWi installed and tethering to my iPad WiFi.
So, you are alone on an uninhabited island, which of these would you choose as your companion? Hard decision here, help me out …

Tired of wasting $5-10 for an air canned to blow dust out of your computers, and it won’t last long? Well, I have come across to this nice small portable JacPac CO2 system that does the work nicely. It costs around $100 at Canadian Tire store (I really hate Canadian Tire returns policy nowaday). I also need some extra attachments to make a perfect tool for the job.
Here is the list:

I have some rare earth (neodymium) magnets laying around the house. I decided to put them in use as a tool hanger, using a hot glue gun and glued the magnets onto the bookshelf. Whooolaaa… Pretty cool stuff…
Wow, it’s been a long time I haven’t done anything here. Recently I’ve got a Mac Mini and I’ve found this thing run a little hot for my concern. iStat Pro read the CPU temp around 50℃ with 1500rpm fan speed. People is saying this is normal temp for this kind of Mac Mini. Well, for me it’s not a good temperature in the long run. I had a 120mm case fan laying around, so I decided to do little mod and soldering the fan with a USB cable and connected to the back of the Mini. I could see some temp cool down a bit… It’s kinda fun huh?

Have you got your new Facebook username yet? It started at 12:01 AM today and I just got my unique username already. It’s a good idea reserve yours now. Here is how you need to do:
I don’t know, I have a feeling about this new Facebook username, there must be some good and bad about this, but I’m not sure. Anyways, Yahoo! 360° is about to close on July 13, and I know a lot of my friends and relatives are using it, they are probably moving to Facebook soon. So, here is my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/thuyLa

Parachute cord (paracord) is one of my favorite cord to play with when I was little kid, although at that time I only could tie a round sinnet. I got into Stormdrane’s Blogs and I was impressed with his tying. So I went out and bought about 150 feet 550 type 3 paracord yesterday at Beavers Army Surplus local store. I couldn’t wait to learn some of these new knots and braids, I learned diamond knot and a solomon bar as my entry level.
My new tiny flashlight is a stainless steel Fenix LD01 limited edition. This flashlight is really compact and nice in my pocket EDC keychain. After few weeks lurking around at CPF (Candle Power Forums) and I’ve found some great ideas you could do with this little torch.
With a single rare-earth (neodymium) circular magnet, I could make the flashlight stick to any metal surface. I’m positive the magnet will NOT damage your flashlight. Items used:
Little flashlight and neodymium circular magnet (1/4″ diameter x 1/10″ thick).
Close-up shoot at the tail light.
The “Celing stand” flashlight is hanging onto my kitchen fan.
Horizontal stand on the wall hanger.
Enjoys.

As you know, living in North America, everyday you go outside, at least you would have something to carry on in your pockets or bag or in your purse for the ladies to survive in this lifestyle. Well, what else is important? Cash it is… Nothing else to say.
I like the idea of EDC key chain, it’s compact and easy to carry around. So, what do I have in my EDC key chain?

Wondering how to organize all your battery charger in one nice place like a box or a carton? There are plenty of ways how to make yourself one with little cost. Here is one of my DIY charger box. Here is what I use:
Basically, I hid an outlet power bar inside the box and drilled all the necessary holes for the wires going through. I’ve found some good videos out there with instructions how to do it yourself.

I’ve been with Rogers internet since like “forever”. Yesterday, I got a notice from them that they will increase my download speed up to 10Mbps. My previous speed was around 800Kbps, with this new speed I could download a DVD movie in less than 2 hours from a newsgroup which is awesome time. Couldn’t be any happier huh?
Canada’s Wonderland is the most wonderful amusement park in GTA. I was bored and played around with Google Maps and captured the whole park in Satellite mode. You could see all the details and rides around it.
Remember, there will be fireworks tonight at Canada’s Wonderland around 9:45PM if you planning to go up there and watch. I guess it’s gonna be crowed by people. Check it out, you may enjoy it.
