Parachute cord (paracord) is one of my favorite cord to play with when I was little kid, although at that time I only could tie a round sinnet. I got into Stormdrane’s Blogs and I was impressed with his tying. So I went out and bought about 150 feet 550 type 3 paracord yesterday at Beavers Army Surplus local store. I couldn’t wait to learn some of these new knots and braids, I learned diamond knot and a solomon bar as my entry level.

My new tiny flashlight is a stainless steel Fenix LD01 limited edition. This flashlight is really compact and nice in my pocket EDC keychain. After few weeks lurking around at CPF (Candle Power Forums) and I’ve found some great ideas you could do with this little torch.
With a single rare-earth (neodymium) circular magnet, I could make the flashlight stick to any metal surface. I’m positive the magnet will NOT damage your flashlight. Items used:
- 1/4″ diameter x 1/10″ thick circular magnet (fit perfectly inside the LD01 tail)
- Super glue (be careful once you glue, it sticks forever)
- Fenix LD01 flashlight
Little flashlight and neodymium circular magnet (1/4″ diameter x 1/10″ thick).
Close-up shoot at the tail light.
The “Celing stand” flashlight is hanging onto my kitchen fan.
Horizontal stand on the wall hanger.
Enjoys.

As you know, living in North America, everyday you go outside, at least you would have something to carry on in your pockets or bag or in your purse for the ladies to survive in this lifestyle. Well, what else is important? Cash it is… Nothing else to say.
I like the idea of EDC key chain, it’s compact and easy to carry around. So, what do I have in my EDC key chain?
- A big iPhone 3G
- Movado Esperanza watch
- Leatherman Squirt P4 multitool
- Fenix LD01 flashlight
- Car and house keys
- Wallet (of course)

Wondering how to organize all your battery charger in one nice place like a box or a carton? There are plenty of ways how to make yourself one with little cost. Here is one of my DIY charger box. Here is what I use:
- clear Really Useful Boxes (4 liters)
- TENERGY charger (for my Li-ion RCR123A batteries)
- UltraFire WF-139 charger (for my Protected Li-ion AW 18650 batteries)
- Panasonic BQ-396 charger (for my Ni-MH / Ni-Cd AA and AAA batteries)
- UltraFire Battery Protective case (case for my RCR123A and AW 18650 batteries)
- Globe 8 Outlets Power Bar (hidden inside the box)
Basically, I hid an outlet power bar inside the box and drilled all the necessary holes for the wires going through. I’ve found some good videos out there with instructions how to do it yourself.

I’ve been with Rogers internet since like “forever”. Yesterday, I got a notice from them that they will increase my download speed up to 10Mbps. My previous speed was around 800Kbps, with this new speed I could download a DVD movie in less than 2 hours from a newsgroup which is awesome time. Couldn’t be any happier huh?

Canada’s Wonderland is the most wonderful amusement park in GTA. I was bored and played around with Google Maps and captured the whole park in Satellite mode. You could see all the details and rides around it.
Remember, there will be fireworks tonight at Canada’s Wonderland around 9:45PM if you planning to go up there and watch. I guess it’s gonna be crowed by people. Check it out, you may enjoy it.

I designed this logo way back and somehow I accidentally formatted my hard drive and lost everything in it including my thuyla.com and unkool.com logos. Today I’ve found it at “Internet Archive Wayback Machine” site and luckily found this unKool logo. The unKool logo is very simplicity. The “K” is actually stands for Kool and the ‘ is “un”. To be honest, I have no idea why I’ve chosen this word “unKool” as my domain name. As you can see the top header I’m using this logo and combined with “Thư Pháp” font.
Oh, my twitter page is also got a new face lift with this logo as well. Check it out and remember follow my twitter page.

I just found out these 2 One Dollar Canadian bill was made in 1954 (bottom) and the other in 1973 (top). Aren’t they antique enough? Damn these bills are sure older than me. Does anyone know what’s it worth? Look at the big photo below to see for yourself.

This is one of my new flashlight which I got last weekend. It’s a Fenix TK11 R2 edition with Cree Premium R2 LED and max output is 240 Lumens. I don’t even know what lumen means to me, but this flashlight is so freaking bright, it could blind a person for few seconds there. “Throws beam over 200m” was written on box. Damn, is this serious or what? I’ll try to shine this out some where, but there is a problem, it all depends on power of the battery cells too. I regretted I got RCR123A Li-on rechargeable batteries. I’d rather get the 18650 cells instead. Now, I know where to get some 18650 rechargeable cells online.
So far I’ve got it for two days, and I must said I like it a lot. As an oriental guy with small hands, the flashlight just fit perfectly on my palm. I’ve done some researches and there are tons of flashlight brand like Surefire, EagleTac, Pelican, UltraFire, … etc. The only one catch my eye is this Fenix TK11, that’s why I got it. This is my first “expensive” flashlight or my last one. Let’s hope that …

Just a few minutes ago, I was in my bed and all the sudden I heard all the noise come from the roof top. I looked out the windows, it was freaking large hail storm. I could say it’s about 2-3cm golf ball hail. LOL I didn’t want to go outside to take one in and measure the hail. I just grabbed my iPhone and took a shoot out of it, here it is:

Updated: After the hail storm, I went outside and checked out my car what kind of damages would this big hail do to my car. I was amazed by it, the hail has put my car roof top, hood and the trunk top a ton of little dents. I looked around all the cars by my house, they all had the same damage like my poor car today. As always, I took out my iPhone and took a few shoot of my car hood. Check out the red squares below:

Updated: This method works for both Windows 7 32-bit, and 64-bit version.
After downloaded and installed successful Windows 7 RC1 build 7100 today, the most annoying thing is a watermark “Windows 7 Evaluation Copy. Build XXXX” at the bottom right on desktop.
So, here is how you can remove it:
1. Download W7_RemoveWatermark.zip (1318) and extract to a Folder.
2. Run RemoveWatermarkX86.exe for 32bit or run RemoveWatermarkX64.exe for 64bit.
3. Follow the instruction on the file.
4. Restart the PC.
Enjoys, simple as that. Hope it will work for you.
