It’s been over few months now and I’ve invested some serious money and few credit cards on my photography equipments. My recently gears are a Canon Battery BG-E2N grip, a Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM and a Sandisk Extreme III 16GB (for tons of photo). Although I don’t take photos a lot but few gears should get me started with this photography hobby. I must say this is an expensive hobby. I’ve promised myself I would never spend more on the gears but I couldn’t stop… Arrggg…

Anyways, I got bored and grabbed all my gears on the floor to show off you guys all my photography gears. Here they are:

Yes… I have played with my new Nokia N800 (Internet Tablet) for a month now, my N800 came with OS2007 and I already flashed it on the first day to latest firmware version which is 4.2007.38-2. The new Nokia N810 recently just release few weeks ago with new OS2008 and Nokia promises they will release OS2008 for N800 user in December 2007. I guess I could wait.

Last week, there was a leak OS2008 released. I managed to download it and upgraded successfully to my N800, So, I’ve tried out the new OS2008 and I was impressed, but there are few problems with softwares are not compatible yet. I had to downgrade to OS2007. I’m happy with my old OS2007.

I surf around and end up at Internet Tablet Talk website. This site has a lot great stuffs for all Nokia N800 / N810 user like me. The first few things I would do to my N800 is install few softwares available free to download at maemo.org, here is the list of softwares I like the most:

- X Terminal

Today I just got a new camera lens, it’s Canon EF 70-200mm f4 L USM, the first L lens series in my equipment. I have taken few shots with it in my room, I will try outdoor shooting later this weekend. For me the lens is a little heavy to handle for a long period of time, I guess I must use a tripod then. So far, all the lens I’ve got are a prime macro lens (60mm f2.8), an ultra-wide zoom lens (10-22mm f3.5-4.5), and a telephoto zoom lens (70-200mm f4L). That’s it for me.
