Mafia Wars iPhone 1.1 Update Suck?
After spending almost a month on playing this Mafia Wars on my iPhone and I’ve managed it to level 716 (screenshot above). Zynga development team released the new update 1.1 yesterday so that they can fix some of the bugs / glitchs / improvements to make the game more fun or whatever. Oh well, after I updated, the game is definitely somehow faster or it’s just my head. I see few new stuffs they’ve added and the game is just harder to level up for now.

Just wondering why it doesnt show that you bought properties or anything. I added you and it shows me that your attack and defence is “0″ no weapons and no poperties. What is your secret?

matt, I got to level 716 before the update 1.1
Now with this 1.1 update, it really takes longer to level up. I think Zynga didn’t want us to look at each other atk/def stats, I guess.
My secret? If you played on version 1.0, you would know the energy spam? BTW, thanks for adding me.
I was able to replace it with the 1.0 so now i am doing the energy spam.

I deleted it from my pnone and when you do that it erases the data from your phone but it is still in the backup of your ipod as the old version if you havent backed up your ipod after you downloaded it. This can only be done if you updated the game with the deivce wifi. If you updated it through itunes by the computer than you are spanked and have to stick with the new version. I downloaded the update and it was freezing all the time, crasking, stupid scrolling below the main screen. Who cares who beat who or who it fighting who or how many are online right now.
I guess I’m stuck with 1.1 for now. I didn’t backup 1.0 one.
Did you update with your device or through itunes? If you go on itunes and right click the icon and look at the get info page and that will show you what version you have. If it shows 1.0 than delete it from your phone and reinstall in through itunes but done download the update with itunes.
I just wanted to check so I clicked on the fight you and I won. lol I wanted to see how many mafia you had. Mine shows 2620 mafia but when I fight you is says only 501. This is a glitchy game. How did you get 2120 mafia?
I updated through my iPhone Appz. LOL. I don’t know how I got over 2000 mafia, but I think some other people added me on Zynga forums page.
This is bull crap! Now people who are on 1.0 and know about the update aren’t going to update so they are gonna fly by us in levels.
I was working on a nice little family for myself, I think I’ll delete it now I’m that p*ssed off.

It wont work for you. There are sites to where you can downloaded it from but mine only works on my phone.

Hi, been enjoying Mafia Wars v1.0. Only just stated but had 2600 att & def points. Downloaded update v1.1 now I only have 800 att/def points, its really slow, keeps crashing!
Wish I could go back to 1.0

Matt has done it to get back his version 1.0. I think you need to backup your 1.0 to your PC first, then delete 1.1 on your iPhone, and sync it back to 1.0 from the PC. If you didn’t backup the version 1.0. You’re screwed like me, stuck with version 1.1
Other way is jailbroken it. Somehow I don’t like jailbroken, it makes my iPhone goes stupid.
Don’t worry, Zynga team is working on version 1.2 now and they need Apple to verify it. It takes a week to do so, just wait.

It’s easy enough to delete the iphone app from your phone then also from your itunes. once deleted restore mafia wars from your backup drive. the file is in your itunes folder under mobile applications. ofcourse this is easy with a mac and a Time machine backup
I would like to revert back to version 1.0. I downloaded Mafia Wars from my phone and never synced my phone to my computer since I downloaded. I updated to version 1.1 from my phone. My question is, is it possible for me to get version 1.0 back on my phone?
Is your iPhone jailbroken? If yes, there is a way to do it. Just scroll it up top and you see how.

Mafia Wars is huge , it is been played by about 4 million of people everyday.
I love to play Mafia Wars too and currently and actively recruiting my mafia family.
This game is very addictive however you need a guide to help you advance to higher level.
Recently I found an ebook that help me to advance in the game and it is full of priceless and brilliant tips for mafia wars players.
Are you some kind of idiot. This mafia wars game for the iphone cant be played any better by reading some guide. If you bought it you wasted your money or you are the knob that is trying to sell it.

i was playing Mafia wars and used the time cheat but i went over 2 bilion and after doing it again i can not get back to the right date. I have installed version 1.0 (afer using v1.5) and when i load it up with the correct date it says i have to wait 1,0987665.56 (as i went to 26th Dec 2028) is there a way that i can get it back to the correct date and get my time based rewards every hour (i have a jailbroken 3GS)
