DIY - Motorola Razr V3 Screen Protector
by NDen from HowardForums
Since I’ve got this phone and have few spare PDA screen protectors that I bought for my hp PDA. Well, there is Martin Fields one to buy, ’cause I’m just a cheap bastard and make one my own. So there, follow the steps and see how it goes.
THE TOOLS:
- A4 or any size white blank paper
- A Pen (with sharp point)
- A Ruler (cm required)
- A scissors (sharp one)
- Screen Protector (a spare PDA screen protector)
- A credit card or any plastic card
THE STEPS:
Step 1:
- Use a A4 (or any size) white blank paper and mearsure the corner with width = 590mm and height = 440mm
- Draw a Rectangle and make sure they are a RECTANGLE (square corners)
Step 2:
- Use a scissors to cut out that Rectangle
Step 3:
- Apply the rectangle paper on top screen protector and cut out the screen protector
- Both must be the same size (W=590mm, H=440mm)
Step 4:
- Now, With the cut-out paper, trim all the corner to match the inner V3 screen
- Do a mix and match with the V3 Screen, if you like the final paper layout. Next is:
- Use your final paper layout to match with the screen protector and cut it out
Final screen protector has been cut:

Step 5:
- The hardest part of this is apply the screen protector on your V3 screen
- Use your “golden fingures” and your credit card/any card to apply the screen protector
by sliding the card as you peel the backing away.
- If you see bubbles, careful peel it off where the bubbles are and sliding the card again
until you like it.
