1. How to Unassociate File Types and Remove File Extension Associations

For example removing .r00 .r01 .r02 .r03 ….. .r30 extension associated “to Open“ with winrar.exe

  1. Open Command Prompt or type cmd in Search box
  2. Remove the file extension association from its assigned file type with the following command
  3. follow by ENTER: assoc .r00=R00 File
